Rock Band 2
Harmonix announced today that Rock Band will be getting its second retail disc of extra tracks on November 17. This new set of tracks will release on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo Wii, and will work with Rock Band or Rock Band 2. You might recall that the previous disc pack was for the PS2 and Wii only, to compensate for their lack of downloadable content. The new pack is being released for the current-gen consoles as well, and gives players the ability to download the packaged songs onto their consoles. Although it only offers songs that are already available through DLC, the disc comes in at $29.99 for 20 songs, which means you’d save a bit by buying the disc if you plan to grab them all anyway. Here’s a full list of the tracks:

  • “Afterlife” — Avenged Sevenfold
  • “Call Me” — Blondie
  • “El Scorcho” — Weezer
  • “Girl U Want” — Devo
  • “Girls Who Play Guitars” — Maximo Park
  • “Indestructible” — Disturbed
  • “It Hurts” — Angels & Airwaves
  • “Just What I Needed” — The Cars
  • “Message in a Bottle” — The Police
  • “Monkey Gone to Heaven” — Pixies
  • “Rio” — Duran Duran
  • “Saints of Los Angeles” — Motley Crue
  • “Simple Man” — Lynyrd Skynyrd
  • “Snow (Hey Oh)” — Red Hot Chili Peppers
