I don't even play halo anymore I got the limited edition and everything. I think my live subscription is up this month. I am not getting another one until 360 comes out.

* The force also senses a short is xbox360 consoles*

~They are taking way too long for the final product.

Well ya know ya dont have to buy the disk to get the maps , you can down load the new 5 for 11.95 and you can get the other 4 free now. The disk its self includes developer intviews and a short animatic( and i do mean short) from halo 2. For 20 bucks...its not worth it. Just download the new maps if you have XBL. If you dont have XBL then just buy the disk.

I've heard this expansion disc improves the cinematics of single-player. Anyone test this?

I doubt that Kengo... I dont see how adding multi-player maps would help single player.

Well, some of my friends who work at Gamestop claimed that you can bring the disc over to other peoples houses and install it on your HD(like the LE of Jade Empire). They claimed it fixes the screw-ups in the textures of the movies for Halo2 single-player along with adding new multiplayer maps and sound-affects for all maps.

Yeah, it does fix some bugs and things in the game (all stuff that was previously patched over Xbox Live). If you're talking about how some of the textures pop in after the characters are on screen in the cutscenes, it won't fix that. That's not technically a bug, actually, it's a sacrifice Bungie made intentionally in order to avoid having long load times for the cutscenes.

Well, I guess it's not impossible, but Bungie had a list somewhere of all the bugfixes and stuff, and I don't remember seeing anything about the cinematics.

So the Halo 2 map disc is also a patch...I didn't know.
