Where did the magic go?

So...I have dedicated my life to Jesus Christ. Over the past 15 weeks I have been studying the Word of God. Doing so has opened my eyes and revealed many things to me. So only a couple of weeks after buying Dragon's Dogma and just a few weeks before the release of Dawngaurd, the Lord spoke to my heart and told me to get rid of all my magic based games. I was smitten. No this cant be I thought to myself. I frantically searched the internet for answers scouring Christian forums and such. But the fact was I knew in my heart the answer already. I got rid of every last one of them and some others that were of low moral value. I was left with nothing but military shooters, sports and a few others that I'm debating about banishing due to their content. Needless to saying my gaming habit has been devastated.

I must admit everyday is a battle not to revert to my habit of game choices. I have through the help of Christ removed various sinful habits I was totally oblivious to but none have been as troublesome as stop playing games with magic. I tell you all this for two reasons. The first reason is for accountability. I want you all to know that I am not allowed through my faith to play such games. Second reason is I don’t know if any of you are my brothers or sisters through Christ Jesus but I want you to know I too am a Believer. Furthermore please wake up from the bewitching spell that such games put over mind and hearts. If any of you have questions concerning this I would be more than happy to discuss at length. May he that have an ear hear. Amen
