Has anyone seen Chatpad(aka Messenger kit, Black) or the Quick Charge Kit (Black) in any stores yet?

You can buy the Quick Charge Kit (Black) from xbox.com, You can not buy the Chatpad (Black) from xbox.com.

Just get a white one, it looks great on a black controller IMO

Finally bought an xbox slim yesturday and I have questions. I got the bundle with alan wakw and forza 3. The store didn't have a transfer cable, is there another way to transer items or do I just need to get the cable? Also picked up a new tv to go with it. What do I need for the best picture?

If your TV has VGA input go out and buy a VGA made by Microsoft(It will give you a better picture than the other inputs, some may disagree on this matter). You can use a USB Drive to transfer your Saves. It would be faster just download your Videos, DLC, & Arcades from XBL again.

If your planning on replay Mass Effect 2 & want to use Mass Effect 1 Saves. You will need to rebeat the final Segment with the latest save. Since Mass Effect 1 uses a Unique save system.

Ok, I transfered everything using my external harddrive. It worked fine, or as fine as I can tell. These vga cables, can I get them on amazon? I had to drive all the way to savannah to get the tv and 360. The tv has two hdmi ports and other component ports, and I only need vga cables?

Yes(it sold by a 3rd Party) I suggest grabbing it from MonoPrice. It's allot Cheaper. Make sure you TV has VGA input first before ordering it. I know all my HDTV's have atlease one VGA built into them. Not sure what brand & Model your TV is. I can't google & look it up to check.

If your TV doesn't grab a HDMI cable from MonoPrice(if you don't already have a HDMI Cable). Do not get suckered into buying HDMI Cable from a Retail Store.

That TV doesn't contain any VGA Inputs. Your choice is HDMI or Component. You would want HDMI.

It looks like a good TV. You may have to fix the Color in the settings. Since it looks to be the same TV I bought for someone last year.

Also, You may want to set your 360 to 720p, not 1080i. Since the TV doesn't do native 1080i. Max res the TV does is 1360 x 768(1080i is 1920x1080 or 1920x1088(on selected Encoders). Plus Progressive scan is better for Games.

i cant change these setting unless i have the right cables. i'll have to pick them up next payday.

the headset that came with the system, is crappy as hell. just took it out the package and its staticy (is that a word?), doesnt really fit the port right, and if you move the cord at all it goes out. used my old headset with it and everything was fine. are the wireless headsets any good?

You can't change it to HD Resolution until you have a HDMI/Component Cable. Not sure when you bought your old 360. You might have a spare component Cable Somewhere. it will give you HD output until you can get a HDMi Cable.

Yea my old 360 has the an extra set of thingys on it. Didn't know I could use them with the slim.
