Thumbs up GR:AW 2 screens uncovered

GR:AW 2 screens uncovered

After the list of new features reached us yesterday, the first ever screens of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 have today reached Xboxygen. What are they like? Check them out after the jump.

They look almost exactly the same as the original GR:AW, and you still have your Cross-Com in the top left of the screen. It should be pointed out that these are scans from magazine GameInformer, where the information posted yesterday also originated from.

Obviously, things such as “Dynamic weather conditions” are impossible to portray in a still image, so I suggest to everyone that they hold back on the bashing until you have seen it in motion.

Just give me a difficulty option UBI otherwise i wont make the same mistake and buy this one, although online was fun.

(the second night mission with the copters at the end and all was to frustratingly hard for me so i gave up on the game, even though i liked everything else about it).

If that's in game then they've really outdone themselves. Still, I never liked the fact that the Ghost Recon series stuck to being 3rd person all the way. It's what turned me off about the last game, and I'm more then sure it'll happen again.

i have always felt this series has been down hill since the first one on the xbox. this game being 3rd person just makes it seem that the ghost recon i loved will never come back.

oh my god.. you people can't be serious .. /sigh

G.R.A.W. had a NORMAL and HARD (ultra-realistic) mode.. PLUS an OPTION for FIRST person OR THIRD person camera view.

don't bash on a game without getting your facts straight. G.R.A.W. is an outstanding ghost recon game.

You can choose The difficult from GRAW i haven't played finish yet.i play till level 4 or 5 i can't remember it.To play GRAW you need tactics because the AI is very smart,be sure to take cover. But still a realistic great game:bang:

I wouldn't say smart AI. I have ran into some real dumb AI. they just stand their and shoot or pop up shoot. Pop back down. Repeat.

some AI get some problems.but tanks and sniper infantry wouldn't get this problem.i was playing i think level 2 or 3 i was hiding in a building because a enemy soldier spotted me he was shooting me. i thought he will not come in the building and shoot me.but he did came in and shoot me.sometimes enemy hides to cover to cover.be sure to check your map or location.

When I say first person view I don't mean shooting bullets out of your eyes.

for the naysayers, its fine to not like a game for legit features not in the game but the classic first person view from the old recons is still in GRAW and you are not forced to be "stuck" in any perspective. to not like a game because your "stuck" in a view (when your not) is not a legit reason to slam a game, most people would be better served actually learning about the game they are critisizing.

BTW that is an ingame screen. the actual game looks FAR better in person then GRAW1. the seemless motion of how it all flows together is beyond words, you shall see.

I guess i should of said an easy mode,i know there's 2 difficulty but for me,halfway through the game, normal was like hard so i stopped playing... that's what i meant. The game was great just to hard for me i guess but i would of loved to see all of it anyway and play the harder part on easy.
