I personally like the new layout better. It finally solves the problem of the horrible menus and looks pretty good.

The most common resolution still seems to be 1024x768, and as such most websites are designed to look good in that configuration. Although with widescreen monitors becoming more popular a lot of web-designers are choosing to float the content at the center of the page.

it's ok. Just wish the used all the space the have. Theirs allot of unused space on the left and right(it could also be my Monitor since I'm running a very high res).

Ugh, I hate it. It just looks not.. like.. right. It doesn't gel together.. the forums just look like it had a template change around the outside and it doesn't feel right. The main site is pretty ugly, but my most used are at the top right and it just doesn't feel as accessible as it was before.

You just, don't design a layout to be open and then restrict it with a weird white boarder around most of the pages. Unlike something like here on OTX, you can see where the layout stops and it doesn't try to be cool and blend in. I really, dislike it. This should've been the inbetween steps from Xbox > 360. And then what they had before is what they should have now.
